It's hard to believe ski season in Vail starts November 16th and in Beaver Creek November 21st! There is already about 1 foot of snow on the ground on both mountains so this season should be another fantastic one. Along with change of season comes the changes in the Vail Valley that continue to amaze both locals and visitors alike.

Today there are several projects in the works.
Solaris is the fantastic new building in Vail Village that is replacing the old Crossroads complex. This building will house 72 luxury condos, a bowling alley, movie theater, an Asian restaurant from the Hamptons and many other shops and restaurants. It will also have an outdoor skating rink and a beautiful plaza. Completion on Solaris is slated for December 2008. Prices for remaining inventory start at $2.3mm.
The Four Seasons is also under construction and on the same timeframe for completion as Solaris. Savvy travelers will recognize the quality and luxury found in Four Season's hotels around the world. The building will house both hotel rooms and for sale condominiums. Prices for remaining inventory start at $7mm. There is still inventory available today!
Ritz Carlton is in the foundation phase of construction at this time. The project is expected to be completed by winter 2009. This building will house 74 whole ownership condominiums but no hotel rooms, thus making this one of the more exclusive properties in town. The Ritz Carlton will be located next to the existing Marriot in Lionshead. Plans for a new chairlift that will be accessible by Ritz owners are in the works but are very likely to be accepted by the Town of Vail. Also, near the Ritz, there are plans for two new hotels - the St. Regis and a W hotel. Both are in the preliminary stages of town approval at this time. Prices for the remaining inventory at the Ritz Carlton start at $2.7mm.
Arabelle is what everyone is waiting for in the core of Lionshead (soon to be called "Vail Square"). This beautiful new building will be the literal center of Lionshead with an outdoor skating rink surrounded by a plaza of shops, restaurants and ski services including ski school. There will be 36 hotel rooms and 62 condominiums for sale. All the condominiums have gone under contract but several are being offered for resale currently. This will be luxury, slopeside! Prices for re-sales begin at $2,7mm.
The list goes on - there are many other new developments in the Village and Lionshead that are all part of the renaissance that Vail is undergoing.
