What’s Next?

This is the question I am asked all of the time. What else could possibly happen in Vail and Beaver Creek? Although there has been a tremendous amount of new construction in both areas, there is still more to come.

The next likely project is the West Lionshead development which is planned to include both a St Regis Hotel and W Hotel. This will be located across from the brand new Ritz Carlton and the Marriot. In addition, a new parking structure is planned for that area which is sorely needed.

West of that project is the Ever Vail development which will be a mix of residential and commercial and will fill in the gap between Lionshead and the Cascade Hotel.

On Vail mountain chairs 10 and 14 have been replaced with high speed quads which will cut the time it used to take to get to Two Elk atop China Bowl in half! In the future, expect to see the replacement of Chair 5 in Sun Down Bowl with a high speed lift.
